Qualifications
A native speaker from an English speaking nation(USA, Canada,UK,Australia,New Zealand,etc)meeting the following specific criteria.
Bachelors degree or Graduate degree holding a certification in TESOL,TESL,TEFL,TKT,CELTA with 120 hours in training.
Desired Candidates
A candidate with a passion to teach and mentor students.
Ability to inspire students with love of learning and creative thinking.
A team player who is able to adapt to new environments in a foreign country.
Experiences in traveling, working or living internationally is a plus.
Job Description
Teach regularly at either an elementary school(ages 9-11)or a middle school(ages 12-14)in Beijing. 20 class periods per week, 45 minutes each;18 weeks each semester,two semesters per year.
Teaching materials and performance review will be provided by the Beijing government and teachers will be expected to implement the curriculum in your daily teaching and complete teaching requirements as assigned.
Support and assist in the continuous development and enrichment of coursework among students including participation in extra-curricular activities and regular communicating and collaboration with other faculty and staff.
Compensation and Benefits
Monthly Salary pre-tax 15,000 RMB($2,300 USD- near current exchange rate is 6.5 Yuan per US Dollar)
Monthly Housing Allowance: 4000 RMB ($615 USD)
Onetime Relocation Allowance 4400 RMB ($675 USD)
Annual Round Trip Tickets (Economy Class);maximum of 13,000 RMB ($2,000 USD)
Vacation leave: public holidays plus school holidays.
